In the period from January 27 to 29 a workshop in experimental modular typography was held at the Academy of Fine Arts, called Tipotaco. The workshop was led by professors of Escuela Superior de Diseno de Madrid, Susana Murias Millan, Luis Conde and Ignacio Vazquez. The workshop was attended by fifteen students in the second year of undergraduate study of Graphic Arts and the orientation of Applied Graphics, assistant professor Natalija Nikpalj Polondak and assistant Maja Rožman. In only eight hours of workshops students created 4-6 elements by which each of them then formed their own typography, printing 30 characters of the alphabet. In the second day of workshop, these elements were digitally derived in a specialized application that tested communicational and functional properties of the resulting typography. At the end of the workshop each student designed a poster as a promotional form of their own design of the typography.
