International exhibition of prints in Olsztyn

Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb is participating in the international exhibition program organized in tribute to the Polish poet, Wislawa Szymborska. Initiated by University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, the program has gathered the students and professors of Rome University of Fine Arts, Arts Academy in Split and Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. Together with their mentor professors, the students of each of the participating higher art education institution have created prints inspired by poems of Wislawa Szymborska using the various, traditional printmaking techniques.

The opening of the exhibition of works created within the program is scheduled for 8 May 2014, in the City Gallery Amfilada in Olsztyn, Poland. During 2014, the exhibition will also be staged in the cities of Rome, Split and Zagreb.

Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb will be represented with the works by students of undergraduate program in Graphic Arts (Dorotea Gašpar, Domagoj Biškup, Ana Jagić, Ante Prša, Željka Glagolić, Judita Horvatinović, Ena Bajuk, Sabina Gašparac, Laura Martinović), graduate program in Art Education (Dalia Finek, Ana Kinčić), postgraduate specialist program in Graphic Arts (Janko Oreč), doctoral program in Graphic Arts (Jožica Medle, Ana Vivoda, Celestina Vičević), and their mentors full professor Nevenka Arbanas, associate professor Ines Krasić, teaching associate Igor Konjušak.
