INTAGLIO PRINTING WORKSHOP

The intaglio printing workshop will be held on Saturday, 11.12.2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the building of the Academy of Fine Arts, Ilica 85

Graphics come from the Greek word "grafein", which translates as to write, or to engrave. Graphics refers to a branch of fine arts, i.e. a process in which the desired motif with all its elements and richness, is transferred to a substrate that is then processed, and depending on the technique (intaglium, high, flat, permeable printing) etched and then printed on a graphic press. This gives the possibility of production and reproduction, that is, printing multi-originals. Which is one of the great advantages of graphics as such. The artist numbers the resulting prints, signs and indicates the technique he used in his artistic expression. All these elements are signed with a pencil

COMIC BOOK WORKSHOP

The comic book making workshop is intended for all participants who, regardless of age and level of previous knowledge and experience, want to try their hand at creating a short form comic. The introductory part of the workshop will briefly present the visual possibilities of comics as a medium, through consideration of the inseparability of image and text, the study of framing and the use of empty space between frames, on relevant examples from the European and world comic book tradition. The introductory part is followed by practical work during which participants create their own short-format comics on a given topic.

The workshop will be held on 5.12.2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Šira Gallery, Preradovićeva ul. 13

Each of you will have the opportunity to make a smaller mosaic that you will be able to decorate your home or give it to someone for Christmas. Before the workshop itself, it is desirable that you come with an idea or a simple sketch that you want to make in the mosaic. But even if you don't have a sketch, you are still welcome to the workshop, so we will improvise together and I will help you realize your idea. The workshop will last 2 hours, and the number of participants is limited to 5 PEOPLE.

The workshop will be held on 5.12.2021. from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Ilica 85
