Virtual exhibitions

Virtual exhibitions explore certain topics and the ways in which visual artists approached them. We try to cover a wide historical range of authors up to the present day, and in addition to well-known painters from the European cultural circle, we also include domestic authors and lesser-known authors or those from non-European environments in each topic.

The exhibitions are accompanied by texts with links for further research or links to films, literary works and other cultural areas that deal with the same topic.

The reproductions presented are for educational purposes. Most of the images are in the public domain, and the rest are used on a fair use basis.
